Meanwhile…

I mentioned being distracted by a shorts pattern. First I bought this fabulous cotton bamboo tencel yarn. Turns out that’s a total pain in the rear to work with. Super slippery, hard to hold tension (an extra loop on the left hand helps), and splits very easily. Gorgeous once worked up by a bear to get there. After multiple frustrating attempts, I stopped in at Wolle Rödel yesterday and bought some pure cotton. Now it’s flying along, at least when the baby and the almost 4- year old (when did that happen??) allow me two hands. I’m very excited about these! Very easy and fun!
